Making meatball hot pockets at home sounds amazing! Here's a simple and delicious recipe:
Homemade Meatball Hot Pockets
Makes: 4 hot pockets
Prep Time: 20 minutes
Cook Time: 15–20 minutes
Ingredients
✅ 1 tube of refrigerated pizza dough (or homemade pizza dough)
✅ 1 cup marinara sauce
✅ 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
✅ 12 small cooked meatballs (cut in half if large)
✅ 1 egg (for egg wash)
✅ 1 tsp Italian seasoning (optional)
✅ ¼ tsp garlic powder (optional)
✅ 2 tbsp grated Parmesan (optional)
Instructions

Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. -
Roll Out the Dough:
Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface into a large rectangle, about ¼ inch thick. -
Cut and Fill:
- Cut the dough into 4 equal rectangles.
- Spread 1–2 tablespoons of marinara sauce on half of each rectangle (leave about ½ inch around the edges).
- Sprinkle a generous amount of mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
- Add 3 small meatballs (or 6 halves) on top of the cheese.

Fold and Seal:
- Fold the dough over the filling to create a pocket.
- Press down the edges and use a fork to crimp and seal them.
- Cut a couple of small slits on top to let steam escape.

Egg Wash and Season:
- Beat the egg and brush it over the top of each hot pocket for a golden finish.
- Sprinkle with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and Parmesan (if using).

- Bake for 15–20 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
- Let cool for a few minutes before eating (the filling will be hot!).
