Making your own pepperoni hot pockets at home is pretty easy and they taste way better than the store-bought ones! Here's a simple recipe:
Homemade Pepperoni Hot Pockets
Makes: 4 hot pockets
Prep Time: 15 minutes

Ingredients

1 tube of refrigerated pizza dough (or homemade pizza dough)

1 cup pizza sauce

1 Β½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese

20β30 slices of pepperoni
β
1 egg (for egg wash)

1 tsp Italian seasoning (optional)

ΒΌ tsp garlic powder (optional)
Instructions

Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. -
Roll Out the Dough:
Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface into a large rectangle, about ΒΌ inch thick. -
Cut and Fill:
- Cut the dough into 4 equal rectangles.
- Spread 1β2 tablespoons of pizza sauce on half of each rectangle (leave about Β½ inch around the edges).
- Sprinkle a generous amount of mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
- Add 5β7 slices of pepperoni on top of the cheese.

- Fold the dough over the filling to create a pocket.
- Press down the edges and use a fork to crimp and seal them.
- Cut a couple of small slits on top to let steam escape.

- Beat the egg and brush it over the top of each hot pocket for a golden finish.
- Sprinkle with Italian seasoning and garlic powder (if using).
